SALT LAKE CITY — The Swedish Heritage Society will rejoice the spirit of the vacation season during Lucia 2018 on Saturday, Dec. 1.
The occasion, which celebrates Saint Lucia’s Day, will probably be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, on the First Baptist Church, 777 S. 1300 East. Tickets are $7 for those 17 and older, and $4 for youngsters ages 4 to 16. Tickets may be purchased on-line by way of Wednesday, Nov. 28, at by means of the society’s Facebook web page.
A standard Swedish Christmas dinner catered by Copper Grill can be served from four p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $sixteen for adults and $10 or youngsters 10 and underneath.
Meal tickets have to be bought by Friday, Nov. 23, via the Fb page.
In the course of the meal and after the program, patrons will have the ability to buy Christmas presents and conventional meals and brands at the “Swedish Retailer,” which raises funds for the society.
The shop will probably be stocked with such gadgets as Swedish cheeses, pickled herring, crisp bread, pearl sugar, Swedish candy, marzipan sweet, limpa bread, conventional saffron buns and other gadgets.
