TOOELE — The Life’s Value Dwelling Basis, an area nonprofit devoted to stopping suicide, will unveil “Proud,” an 18-foot bronze sculpture in Veterans Memorial Park that aims to boost consciousness of veteran suicide.
The sculpture, by Dan Snarr, shall be unveiled Saturday during a ceremony that may start at 2 p.m. on the park, which is situated on the corner of Essential and Vine.
Following the revealing and remarks by speakers, there can be a free concert by nation recording artists J. Marc Bailey and Jamie Lee Thurston. There will even be a set of antique army automobiles on show as well as booths from numerous veterans organizations.
Earlier than the revealing, residents are invited to a Veterans Day program at eleven a.m. at the Utah Army Nationwide Guard, 16 S. First Road.
