STAMFORD — Stamford High Faculty senior Ivy Zingone gained first place within the fourth congressional district artwork competition.
Zingone’s profitable work, “Counting Screens,” is made with graphite and colored pencil and depicts a telephone cellular above a baby’s crib. The piece will grasp in the hall resulting in the U.S. Capitol building for the subsequent yr.
“Every year, I’m excited to see entries from gifted young artists from across the district. Congratulations to Ivy and the profitable individuals on this yr’s Congressional Art Competition,” Himes stated.
The competition drew a report eighty entries from across the district. Ridgefield Excessive Faculty scholar Angela Lin gained second place and Moli Ma of St. Luke’s Faculty in New Canaan took third.
