Salt Lake aims to give Main Street kiosks a fresh look


SALT LAKE CITY — Calling all artists!

The Blocks, an initiative of Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County to promote and package deal inventive experiences for residents and visitors, is on the lookout for local artists to assist repurpose the kiosks situated along Major Road.

Paintings might be situated along the panels of the underside half of the kiosk buildings, providing a chance to introduce extra dialogue, colour and voice to downtown’s environment.

This name is open to all skilled artists, designers and artist-led groups residing in Utah. These new to the general public art course of or artists and designers working outdoors of the normal public artwork course of are also inspired to use. Chosen paintings might be displayed for 3 to six months, with new paintings rotating on a seasonal basis.
