SALT LAKE CITY — A person and boy have been injured Thursday night after an argument in Salt Lake Metropolis on Thursday, police stated.
Police have been referred to as to an condo at 90 E. 600 South round 6:50 p.m. on a home incident after a man went to his girlfriend’s house whereas intoxicated and the lady’s teenage son didn’t let him into the home, Salt Lake Police Lt. Russ Amott stated.
The boy, who Amott stated is 14 or 15 years previous, was within the residence together with his younger sister. When the childrens’ mom received house, she let her boyfriend into the house without figuring out there had been a confrontation, Amott stated.
When the man went into the house, he “immediately assaulted” the teen, based on Amott.
“All we will decide proper now’s that the grownup male was intoxicated and was upset that he wasn’t let into the condominium,” Amott stated.
In the course of the confrontation, the person and the boy both suffered minimize wounds, however Amott didn’t know which one had a knife on the time.
They have been both taken to a hospital with minor accidents, Amott stated.
After he’s launched from the hospital, the person can be taken into custody, the lieutenant stated, and could face potential baby abuse or aggravated assault costs.
The mother was cooperating with police, he stated.
