Orem police seek man for questioning in shooting near UVU campus

OREM — A person shot near the near the campus of Utah Valley University Thursday night time has died.

Orem police announced Friday morning that the man, whose identify has not been launched, did not survive his accidents.

Investigators are still in search of Elbert Paule, 19, of Orem, in reference to the capturing that happened about eight p.m. Thursday on the Parkway Lofts Flats, 1225 W. one thousand South. One man was critically injured. The capturing prompted university officials to challenge a “shelter in place” advisory to college students as police looked for the gunman.
