Investigation continues after fights force lockdown at Larned Correctional Facility

PAWNEE COUNTY — Authorities are investigating after a collection of fights broke out Tuesday at the Larned Correctional Psychological Well being Facility.

Two or three of the dwelling pods stay on lockdown Wednesday following the incidents, in response to Kansas Division Corrections spokesperson Samir Arif.

There have been no critical accidents reported and all inmates have been accounted for, in accordance with Arif.
