Gun goes off in Provo church, sending bullet into classroom of teens

PROVO — A gun by accident went off inside a church on Sunday, sending a bullet into a classroom with youngsters, in accordance with police, who famous that luckily, nobody was injured.

The carrying of lethal weapons, concealed or otherwise, inside their walls is inappropriate except as required by officers of the regulation,'” stated church spokesman Eric Hawkins.

He stated native church leaders are “reinforcing this principle” with members.

“We’re assured that the constructing and its members are protected,” Hawkins stated.

He added that the gun owner had been target capturing the day earlier than and forgot concerning the gun in his backpack when he went to church the subsequent day.

The MormonLeaks web site posted an audio recording Sunday that it says is of an “unidentified native chief” talking concerning the capturing to the younger ladies of a ward within the church’s Provo Edgemont North Stake.
