DUCHESNE — One individual was killed and another injured when a passenger automotive crashed head-on with a semitrailer late Thursday.
Just after eleven p.m., a automotive heading west on U.S. 40 close to Duchesne out of the blue went into oncoming visitors for an unknown cause and hit a semitrailer pulling double tankers, based on the Utah Highway Patrol.
“The semi continued on for a short distance before with the ability to stop. The tractor then ignited into flames and utterly burned,” the UHP stated in a press release.
The driving force of the passenger automotive, Jacob A Kosowsky, 21, of Boca-Raton, Florida, was killed on impression, in line with the UHP. A passenger was taken to Uintah Basin Medical Middle with injuries not thought-about to be life-threatening. The semitrailer driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
