SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Division of Workforce Providers has chosen Michael Miller as the new chief of Veterans Providers.
Miller will take over for Bruce Summers, who will retire in January.
Miller, who is from Cedar City, served slightly below 30 years in the U.S. Military and Utah Nationwide Guard. He was deployed twice, one in every of which was to Ramadi, Iraq.
Miller ended his profession with the army after serving five years as the command sergeant main, a senior enlisted leader with the Utah National Guard. In addition, he was a senior operations sergeant major and had several different leadership alternatives in coaching troopers and managing logistics.
In addition to his army expertise, Miller has served on several group boards, and since retiring from the army, he has been working for the Bureau of Land Management as an administrative help specialist.
