Car ran red light before serious crash, warrant says


WEST JORDAN — The front seat passenger, who stated she saw the crash coming, put her arms up and ducked.

Just as she did, the automotive she was driving in went underneath a semitrailer, ripping the roof off.

The crash occurred Oct. 26 when a automotive ran a pink mild at the intersection of 7800 South and the Mountain View Hall and made a right turn as a semitrailer entered the intersection, in response to police. As the automotive went underneath the trailer, it “took the highest part of the car off. It was then dragged along the roadway till the back wheels of the trailer made contact with the Nissan and dislodged the car,” based on a search warrant affidavit filed in 3rd District Courtroom.
