Bookmark contest celebrates College Savings Month


SALT LAKE CITY — Artwork and literature will intersect with school financial savings through the annual my529 Make Your Mark bookmark design contest.

The annual contest is held every September throughout School Savings Month to boost consciousness amongst Utah households concerning the significance of investing for future school or vocational faculty expenses. It’s sponsored by Utah’s school savings plan, my529, and StepUp to Greater Schooling, an outreach initiative that empowers Utah students and their households to organize for school.

Eight winners in kindergarten by means of twelfth grade will each receive a $1,000 school savings scholarship for their profitable designs.
