Jury deliberates fate of Houston man accused of two fatal wrecks in one day



Harris County prosecutors on Friday urged jurors to convict a 38-yr-previous Houston man of felony homicide for inflicting a fatal crash simply minutes after a fatal hit-and-run on a Sunday afternoon in 2015.

“This defendant killed Joshua Medrano as a result of he was fleeing a horrible wreck that he had just brought about,” prosecutor Lynn Nguyen stated in closing arguments. “He had just left his license plate at Spur 5 the place he killed Leonard Batiste.
